Poretics polycarbonate and polyester screen membrane filters from Osmonics have obtained certification, passing the USP Class VI testing for biosafety. Poretics screen, or capillary pore, members are used in a wide range of life science, environmental, medical, research and laboratory applications. They are manufactured using the traditional nuclear reactor irradiation method and contain all the characteristics of true screens, such as surface capture, low non-specific binding, negligible extractables, biological inertness and other unique properties.
