  Consumer electronics giant, LG has officially launched the company's flagship curved smartphone G Flex in India.             As promised in December, LG G Flex has been made available in the market for a whopping a[sup.1]69,999, making it the most expensive handset in the subcontinent. Prospective buyers can place orders at online store, Snapdeal for a[sup.1]69,990, or opt for Infibeam, which is retailing the same device for a[sup.1]69,490.             Touted as the world's first curved-flexing smartphone, LG G Flex flaunts a concave (vertical) body, ergonomically designed to reduce the distance between the mouth and the phone's microphone when held against the ear. It sports a 6.0-inch Plastic based OLED HD curved display with pixel density of 245 ppi (pixels per inch).       Another striking feature of the G Flex is the 'self-healing' body case, where the rear-case has the ability to recover daily wear and tear scratches (minor) within a few seconds.     Inside, the LG device packs a 2.26GHz Snapdragon CPU, Adreno 330 graphics engine, 2GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory, 13.0-megapixel camera (with LED flash, auto focus, HDR) and a 2.1-megapixel front camera with full HD video recording ability and a high-capacity 3500 mAh Li-Polymer battery.          

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo, LTE+ Variant officially Announced; Specifications and Availability Details.

  After months of speculation, Samsung has finally pulled the wraps off its Galaxy Note 3 Neo models (3G and LTE+) in Poland.             The new Galaxy phablets are said to be the mid-range variants of the premium model Galaxy Note 3 which was launched in September last year. Apart from S-Pen stylus functionalities and faux leather stitching on the rear side, the devices' size and internal hardware have been stripped down.         Both Galaxy Note 3 Neo models (3G and LTE +) sport 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED screen and run on the Android v4.3 Jelly Bean OS backed by 2GB RAM with 16GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB). They also house an 8.0-megapixel main camera (with BSI sensor, Smart stabilizations, LED flash (high CRI), auto-focus, zero shutter lag, full HD video recording) and a 2.0-megapixel front camera with BSI sensor and Smart stabilizations.       Only key difference between these two models is that, 3G variant ships with a 1.6GHz quad-core CPU, whereas the 4G-LTE+ boasts Samsung's Hexa-core processor which houses a 1.7GHz dual-core Cortex A15 chipset and a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex A7 chipset.

  Chinese smartphone major Oppo Electronics entered India market with the launch of its flagship phablet , the N1.The phablet is priced at a[sup.1]39,999.         The smartphone which was unveiled in September 2013 in China will be initially available in 12 cities, including Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. Talking of the features, the smartphone sports 5.9-inch full-HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor paired with 2GB RAM.

  South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched its spectacular 2014 edition ATIV Book 9 and the 24-inch ATIV One 7 all-in-one PC at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.       The ATIV Book 9 (2014 edition) is the latest addition to Samsung's ATIV notebook line-up and comes with a slim and light design to capture the minds of tech enthusiasts. Speaking of features, the notebook boasts a 15.6-inch display with 1920x1080 resolution and is powered by Intel Core i5 or i7 ULV processors and Intel HD Graphics 4400.     According to Samsung, the HD display of the latest ATIV notebook is 20 percent brighter and 125 percent higher than the previous generation Book 9. It runs on Windows OS and comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 1024 GB SSD. Samsung claims a 14-hour long battery life for the new device, and it houses two USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB 2.0 port, an HDMI port, and an SD card slot. Samsung did not announce the availability of the new notebook but it's said that it will be available globally.

  It's been a while since Nokia's rumoured America bound Lumia 929 made headlines but now the phone is back in the news, with new HD snapshots along with a leaked list of key features.           Windows Phone Central has posted a fresh set of high-resolution images of Lumia 929, giving us an opportunity to take a closer look at the Nokia's forthcoming device. The new smartphone in the picture sports a big glossy display, giving enough space to tuck-in multiple tiles (icons) on the home page. On the backside, the phone seems to have polycarbonate-based matte finish. [To view the snapshots of Lumia 929, Click Here].           Lumia 929, which is touted as the successor Lumia 928, reportedly sports a bigger 5.0-inch super AMOLED display with full HD (1920x1080p) resolution and ships with Lumia Black OS (Windows Phone 8 update 3), powered by a faster and efficient 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series quad-core processor, aptly backed by 2GB RAM and 32GB memory (non-expandable).           Like all high-end Lumia handsets, the upcoming Lumia 929 - which is specifically crafted for Verizon network carrier - is also touted to boast a feature-rich camera, a 20-megapixel PureView snapper with dual LED flash and has the ability to take dual-shots of 16-MP and 5-MP photos simultaneously, a feature we see in the company's flagship 41-megapixel camera phone, Lumia 1020.

  Canadian smartphone maker BlackBerry is reportedly gearing up to launch its new touchscreen flagship handset Z30 in India next week.   BlackBerry is expected to host an event on 24 October to launch Z30 in the subcontinent with price-tag of under a[sup.1]45,000, (http://www.financialexpress.com/news/blackberry-ltd-set-to-launch-5inch-z30-smartphone-in-india-on-oct-24/1184633) reported The Financial Express.             The Z30 smartphone, which was globally unveiled on 18 September, is touted as the company's first ever phablet. It sports a 5.0-inch super AMOLED HD (1280x720p) display with pixel density close to 294 ppi (pixels per inch) and runs on the updated BB OS v10.2 out-of-the-box.           Inside, it houses 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro dual-core CPU, Adreno 320 graphics engine, 2GB, 16GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 64GB), Li-Ion based battery with 2800 mAh capacity, which the company claims has enough juice in it to power the phone up to 25 hours under mixed usage.         Regarding its camera specifications, BlackBerry Z30 packs the same features as seen on its predecessor Z10. It flaunts an 8.0-megapixel camera with LED flash support and is capable of recording full HD video.
