Finelite Gets Multiple Product Innovation Awards from Architectural SSL Magazine

Finelite said it took home the award for "Best Renovation/Retrofit" for the Boston Logan International Airport - Terminal B project. The company said additional awards were given to the E1-Indirect Configuration LED pendant luminaire, and the Series 11 LED Micro Flex and Micro Profile cove luminaires. Winners were announced in this month's issue of Architectural SSL and featured products and projects that judges considered "the most innovative LED/ solid-state luminaires and fixtures on the market."

Digital Lumens announced today that Kenwal Steel Corp., one of North America's largest and most-respected flat-rolled steel distributors, has upgraded the lighting in its 100,000-square foot steel mill in Dearborn, Michigan, to the Digital Lumens Intelligent LED Lighting System. By replacing its 1000-watt metal halide fixtures with the Intelligent Lighting System, the facility is saving more than 93% in lighting-related energy, resulting in an investment payback period of less than one year, and return on investment (ROI) of 124%.
