CFM signs lease for new facility

West Chester, PA

CFM Technologies, Inc. has signed a long-term lease for a 140,000 sq. ft. facility in Exton, PA, in which to manufacture its wet processing equipment for semiconductor and flat panel displays. Occupancy is planned for 1998. The facility consists of two buildings: a four-story, 80,000 sq. ft. office building for its new headquarters, which will accommodate its engineering, marketing, customer service, and administrative staff; and a second building, which will include 60,000 sq. ft. of flat panel and semiconductor manufacturing space. Combined with its current, owned manufacturing facility in West Chester, CFM Technologies expects to double current manufacturing capacity with the addition of the new facility. In a separate press release, the company announced it had completed initial processing of 300 mm semiconductor wafers in its Full-Flow system. — SES
